Progress takes time and working one-on-one with a coach offers a higher level of challenge, guidance, accountability, and support that helps you meet your goals.
My goal as your coach is to help you learn how to use your strengths to overcome your weaknesses and to encourage you to put forth the effort, learn from the process, and move forward.
AREAS OF FOCUS
NEW TO FITNESS
This service is intended for those who have not had much experience with fitness or have not engaged in fitness activities in quite some time. We will work together to explore exercise styles, establish fitness routines, and incorporate fitness into your lifestyle.
WEIGHT LOSS
This service incorporates nutrition and behavior modification principles, along with fitness training, to move toward healthy and sustainable weight loss.
CONDITIONING
This service is geared toward those who have some level of familiarity with fitness and exercise and may desire coaching to improve in some area of fitness (strength, endurance, flexibility, etc.), to add exercise variety, or to move beyond plateau in order to make additional progress.
PREPARATION FOR SURGERY
This service is for those with upcoming planned surgeries and offers pre-surgical education and training (also known as prehab) so that your post-surgical expectations are more realistic, and both your body and mind are prepared for the rehab and healing process. Ideally, this service should be scheduled 4-6 weeks prior to your surgery.
CORRECTIVE EXERCISE & TASK MODIFICATION
This service is to address specific areas of movement dysfunction and/or pain. The goal is to improve the overall quality of movement and/or to modify current movement patterns for improved function not just during exercise, but in daily life.
BALANCE AND MOBILITY TRAINING FOR DECREASED RISK OF FALLS
This service is geared toward older adults but is appropriate for others who may be at risk of sustaining injury due to falls.
